ABSTRACT
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is one of the areas that should be specially examined due to the fact that it includes urgent approaches and special operations that cannot be postponed, including the pandemic period. In this article; During the COVID-19 pandemic period, it is aimed to evaluate the process of oral and maxillofacial surgery operations to be performed under local and general anesthesia in terms of patient and employee health, and infection control and to discuss current information. Surgical operations can be performed in clinical conditions under local anesthesia or in operating rooms under general anesthesia, depending on the patient, the nature of the procedure or the available possibilities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it is necessary to define the strategies and appropriate treatment approaches for effective case management.
