ABSTRACT

Components of valuing health; personal value, technical value, allocation value and social value. Meeting the goals of those who need health care can be defined as a personal value. The concept of technical value, which can be explained as the best health gain achieved by resources. Allocation value can be expressed as distributing health-related resources to those who need health care. The concept of social value, emphasizing the importance of the health intervention for the society, also expresses the contribution of the society to the participation, and commitment of this intervention. There are different examples of value-based health care implemented in different countries. The most frequently used area in the world experience is the reimbursement model for some drugs. The most commonly used area in world experience is the reimbursement model for some drugs. Development with pilot applications and the need for a new business model, risk sharing with the parties, and digitalization for the monitoring evaluation of success criteria can be listed as the need.
